Today Monday has purchased the Norwegian production company Storyteller and hereby strengthens its position in the Norwegian market.
Storyteller has produced television for Norwegian TV stations since 2001, recently amongst others the program series “Kampen for Livet” for TV2 Norge and “Børnenes Restaurant” for NRK Super.
“Storyteller is one of the smaller, but very creative production companies in Oslo and the acquisition gives us a great deal of support regarding the further development of our Norwegian company,” says Managing Director Morten Bank.
At the same time, former owner and founder of Storyteller, Rune Obrestad, has been appointed Executive Producer and joins Monday’s management in Norway.
Monday established themselves in Norway in 2013 where the company won the production rights for all C More sports in Norway.
“Our sports production has a strong position in Norway but we have to move on and the acquisition of Storyteller is the first important step in this process,” says Morten Bank.
